Bio

I'm obsessed with food and cocktails. I don't like cooking, so I'm always on the hunt for delicious food and amazing cocktails in my city and surrounding areas.

What makes you a boss?

I consider myself a boss because as a Capricorn, I'm a natural-born leader. I just prefer to take charge of tasks I'm given and hold myself accountable to finish them to the highest standards. I think the people I work with would agree, they always come to me for advice or when they need help with something.

Tell us about your blog. How did you start? How has it transformed? Is it what you expected?

My blog started in 2014. I was always out at restaurants eating with my friends and they started to ask me for recommendations. I got annoyed by all the requests so I decided to start a blog and have that be the hub of information. It started out as a fun, easy way to share my foodie finds. I've been focused more on building my social media, mainly Instagram, I admittedly need to get back to blogging more.

What's your day job?

I’m a Public Relations and Communications Associate.

Proudest moment in your career AND personal life?

There are so many moments in my career that I'm proud of. I'm proud when I get a promotion, I'm proud when I get a new job, I'm proud when someone says that someone else gave me rave reviews. Personal Life, I'm just proud to be doing something that I love... not a lot of people get to say that.

Lowest point?

I can't think of a lowest point. Things don't always go my way but I take a licking and keep on ticking.

Most famous quote?

“What God has for me, is for me.” My Mom used to say that all the time and I adopted that quote from her. In this world of social media, it's so easy to get jealous or distracted by what someone else has and I always remember, I don't have it because it's not for me. I just continue to work hard and wait on what's for me.

Why should everyone have a #LadyTribe to lean on?

Women go through similar and different experiences. It's good to have a tribe to give you advice and guide you through life. It doesn't necessarily have to be friends, it could be your family, your industry peeps or mentors.

What passion project are you working on right now?

I'm working on revamping my blog by creating new and interesting content for 2020.

Rapid Response Questions

Spirit Animal? Goat.

Why? That's the Capricorn symbol, a goat. We're always climbing to the top.

Favorite Color? Blue.

What gets you out of bed in the morning? Money. There is money to be made.

Do you love yourself? Yes, unconditionally. The ugly parts of me, all of it, I love it.

Share one piece of advice that you find most important with all the ladies out there working hard to make their dreams come true.

Consistency is key. Keep working hard, don't slack on your work... it's not going to happen overnight but it will eventually happen.
