Bianca’s in the Kitchen
I really enjoy eating out, but nothing beats a home cooked meal at my parent’s house. My parents are amazing cooks, so I was spoiled with good food growing up. Imagine the shock of cafeteria food, when I went away to college.I love getting in the kitchen and cooking up some of my not-so-secret family recipes. And trying new recipes is very therapeutic for me, in the sense that cooking takes my mind off a tough day and turns that energy into a delicious plate of food. In terms of my background, my mom is Italian and my dad is from Honduras, so I have a pretty well-balanced palette. I grew up eating various cuisines, including: Indian, Thai, Peruvian, etc. I can go from rice and beans with chicken to spaghetti and meatballs real quick! Sunday Dinner is a really important family tradition for me because I love gathering around a table to spend time together and catch up over a home-cooked meal. That being said, sometimes cooking gets in the way of that quality time because the chef ends up in the kitchen for most of the dinner, so I’ve got plenty of easy dinner recipes on here too.
