Ki Sushi in Cobble Hill, Brooklyn

Last night, I checked out Ki Sushi for a date night on Smith Street near Cobblehill in Brooklyn. You can’t go wrong with a sushi spot that has fresh fish and reasonable prices. I tried some new food this weekend, like the Fried Gyoza, King Crab Cali Roll, and Rainbow Roll. And I’m normally not a fan of sweet wine, but I loved the Kinsen Plum Wine. The bill was about $136 before tax and gratuity.

Dessert

The Banana Spring Rolls were good, but I’ve had them at other Asian restaurants before. The Lime & Ginger Crème Brûlée, on the other hand, was a refreshing taste that was new to me. And I loved that large red berry that was on top, but unfortunately, cannot remember the name of it.

This is just a matter of preference, but the restaurant is a little cozy, so the tables are seated pretty close together. Although this wasn’t ideal, we ended up making friends with the couple at the table next to us. Bottomline, if you’re not a fan of crowds, I recommend going for an early dinner.
